The Awesome Work You’ll be Doing:

You’ll be in charge of gathering and triaging workplace injuries, along with supervising the clinical staff.

  • Assessing and triaging patients via contact center, following nursing protocols, identifying patient needs, and appropriately advising patient of the right level of care.
  • Facilitating chart review with Chief Medical Officer.
  • Monitoring, organizing, and coaching RN team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Hiring and training new RN employees.
  • Ensuring that the clinical staff follow their schedules properly, as designed.
  • Monitoring RN licensing.
  • Establishing department guidelines.
  • Evaluating individual RN performance.
  • Handling customer complaints, questions, and queries as necessary.

Time to Impress Us:

Our leaders are veterans in their fields—so we are looking for someone with extensive experience:

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school + 10 years’ practical experience; Current Registered Nursing license (RN) in Arizona and California; 6 months to 1-year related customer service/call center experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Awesome Work You’ll be Doing:

You’ll be answering incoming calls, gathering and verifying demographic information, resolving basic and complex written and verbal member issues.

  • Answer incoming calls, gather information using the computer database, and route call appropriately to clinical staff when necessary.
  • Process outbound calls to verify computer database facility verifications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness.
  • Document calls using standard computer software.
  • Conduct information gathering calls to assist clinical staff; document results in record.
  • Verify demographic information, document in record.
  • Ability to handle telephone conversations while typing at a rate of 35 words per minute.
  • Multi-tasking, listening, inputting data, navigating through various screens while applying basic customer satisfaction techniques.
  • Ability to work a full-time shift between the operating hours of 6 AM to 7 PM M-F and/or based on business needs.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Experience in healthcare or medical office environments preferred.
  • 2 years incoming call center experience.
